SUMMARY: Hillholm Estate, formerly known as The Inn on Winter’s Hill, is located in Kingsfield. The inn is a place to relax, unwind and enjoy peace and quiet. The inn is home to Santosha, a Healing Arts center. Inn guests are not served breakfast but can participate in yoga and meditation. Meals are not included in the stay, but there is a farm-to-table restaurant on-site. To maintain the peaceful environment, there are no TVs in the guest rooms, but there is Wi-Fi throughout the estate.

History: Hillholm was named by the builder, Amos G. Winter. The house was built in the 1800s to resemble the Stanley brothers’ house in Boston. Hillholm previously held the name Inn on Winter’s Hill. Over the years, the house was a physician’s office, apartment building, and restaurant.
Amenities: The inn features a barrel sauna and jacuzzi. Be sure to book a Santosha Healing Arts treatment, such as a massage. Winter’s Table restaurant serves Prohibition-era cocktails and pub food. The inn can be rented for weddings and events for up to 150 guests.
Recreational Activities: Enjoy a tennis match or pickleball game on the clay tennis courts. Or, toast marshmallows over the communal fire pit. There are books and games to borrow from the on-site library.
The inn is home to Santosha Healing Arts, writing and yoga retreats. Book a holistic retreat or participate in a community yoga and meditation class.

Pet Policy: Hillholm Estate (The Inn on Winter's Hill) is pet-friendly dogs only, no cats). Let us know at least 48 hours in advance so we can allocate a dog-friendly room for you. Rates are $50/stay. We’re glad to provide a bed, bowls, and tasty treats for your dog. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times and be vaccinated with a standard series of vaccinations, including rabies, and must be spayed/neutered. You are welcome to leave your dog in your room unattended, provided that he stays crated anytime you’re out of the room.
