Number of Campsites: Wassamki Springs Campground has 265 campsites on 30 pristine acres in the Southern Maine Coast Region. Max length 60 ft, room for slide-outs, and pull-thru sites available. Sites with a variety of hookups, from full to none, and water and electric in between. Electrical hookups offer up to 50 amps. Tents are welcome. Roads are not paved, and the speed limit is strictly enforced. Lakefront, shaded, and sunny sites are available. Campsites have a picnic table and fire pit. Seasonal camping if offered.
Campground Amenities: Restrooms and showers are ADA-accessible, and hot showers are free. Guest laundry and Sunday morning cooked breakfast ($) during the season. Wi-Fi and cable TV are available. A camp store offers necessities. There are two dumping stations, two playgrounds, lots of sandy beach, and a dog run.
Recreational Activities: Live entertainment, bingo, horseshoe pits, basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts, tetherball, swimming, and fishing in the lake. A weekly activity schedule takes place from May to September, including card games for adults and cornhole. All the activities that Portland has to offer are just a short drive away.
Season of Operation: Wassamki Springs Campground is open from May 1 to October 15.
