Recreational Activities: Venture to the jetty on both sides of the Kennebunk River and take scenic photographs or jump into the brisk water. Or, bring a kayak to the river for a daytime paddle. Gooch's Beach, Middle Beach, and Mother's Beach are close to the hotel and are great for swimming and sunbathing or a beach fire in the evening. Walker's Point, the Bush family estate, is just one mile from the hotel.
In the winter, ice skate at the Waterhouse Center or go sledding at Sea Road Hill. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are popular activities at Harris Farm too. Indoor activities nearby include making candles at Sea Love Candles, bowling, and enjoying one of the many delicious restaurants in the area.
