History: The inn started in 1794 under the operation of the Ricker family. The Ricker family started bottling the water from the spring nearby in 1845. Over the years, the resort expanded to add additional buildings, a golf course, and modern amenities.
Amenities: Lodge rooms have air conditioning, a private bathroom, a TV, and Wi-Fi. The resort is available to rent for events and weddings. Access delicious dining options at the Maine Inn Dining Room, Mel’s Hilltop, Rick’s Pub, Fenn Park Ice Cream, and the Garden Snack Bar.
Recreational Activities: The on-site 18-hole, par-71 golf course is available for a game of golf, driving range, or lessons. Or, try a match of tennis on the grass courts. There’s also shuffleboard, disc golf, and many yard games. In the warm weather months, there is an outdoor pool for swimming. Enjoy live entertainment by local musical acts at the on-site gazebo in the summer. Off-site, the Oxford Casino is just minutes from the lodge and offers slot machines and gambling. In the winter, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are popular activities on the nearby trails.
Season of Operation: The Lodge is open year-round. (Other buildings are open from May to October.)
