History: The inn was built in 1894 for Mary R. Hurd, a mill owner. It was originally called Hurd Manor. The inn was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
Amenities: The innkeepers partner with local artists for an artwork showcase each summer. All art pieces are also available for purchase.
The inn has a library, a game room, and music room. There's a complimentary EV charging station, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and refrigerator access. Full breakfast is served daily and coffee and tea and afternoon refreshments are available too.
The inn can be rented for events such as showers, reunions, luncheons and holiday parties.
Recreational Activities: The inn hosts many experiences throughout the season. Past events have included Tea Party at the Inn, Art at the Inn, Murder Mystery Evening, Holidays at the Inn, Wine Tastings, Baking Weekend, Beer Brewing, concerts, writing and art retreats and more. The inn partners with Orchard Hill Farm and guests are welcome to visit the farm by appointment.
Season of Operation: Open for lodging from May through October. Available for events from November through April.
