History:The Swan’s Island Historical Society was part of the Swan’s Island Educational Society starting in 1972. In 2019, the two separated.The Swan’s Island Historical Society started in the former residence of Captain Henry Lee. It then moved to a building called Seaside. Hall. In 2008, the building was struck by lightning and many artifacts were lost or damaged. In 2019, the Historical Society bought and renovated a former Methodist Church into a museum. The museum opened in 2021.
Collections and Highlights: The collection includes many photographs, artifacts, documents, records, and items from Swan’s Island.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 1 PM - 3 PM.
