Number of Campsites: Sun Retreats Old Orchard Beach has 281 campsites. They have full hookups and either 30 or 50 amps. All sites have grassy or gravel pads and both back-in and pull-thru sites are available. All sites have a picnic table and a fire pit. Premium cottages can sleep from 2 to 6 guests.
Campground Amenities: Golf carts are for rent. This is a gated community with controlled access. The campground has laundry, clean restrooms, hot showers, dump station, Wi-Fi access, cable TV, camp store, a designated dog park, playground, and a clubhouse. The summer trolley stops here as well.
Recreational Activities: Go-carts are available to ride, an arcade with video games, pool and pingpong tables, a game room, and planned activities. A swimming pool and splash pad provide a way to cool off, and a hot tub is available. Themed weekends with activities for all members of the family are common. Basketball courts and sand volleyball are provided. Lots of activities in all the surrounding areas provide recreational opportunities away from the campground. A half-mile walking trail goes around the campground.
Season of Operation: Sun Retreats Old Orchard Beach is open May 1 to October 14.
