Sugarloaf Explorer bus service is supported by Maine DOT, USDOT, the town of Carrabassett Valley, home owners, condominium associations, Sugarloaf Resort and local businesses.

Bus Service Routes: The Sugarloaf Explorer offers nine bus routes linking residential neighborhoods, condominiums, inns, and hotels in Carrabassett Valley with the Sugarloaf Base Lodge, the Outdoor Center, and local shops and restaurants.
Seasonal Services - Sugarloaf Express: Daily Bus Service with lines from Farmington to Sugarloaf and Stratton to Sugarloaf during the winter ski season.
*During severe weather, it may be necessary to suspend bus service. Please watch local TV stations or check their websites for bus service interruptions. Alerts will also be available on the WMTS Twitter and Facebook pages.
Accessibility: Most Sugarloaf Explorer vehicles are lift-equipped and can carry up to 2 riders in wheelchairs.
