SUMMARY: The free, public use, Southern Bangor and Aroostook Trail travels from Houlton and through forested areas and smaller towns in Aroostook County along the way before looping around Presque Isle. Logging trucks share this road so riders should be vigilant and should yield right of way. All motorized vehicles permitted on multi-use trails must be legally registered as either an ATV and/or snowmobile. Open year round with limited access during mud season.
