Dogs are allowed anywhere on Donnell Park Public Land, including the trails and campsites. The only restrictions are at the campsites, where dogs must be leashed and with you at all times. You cannot leave a leashed or tethered dog alone.
On the trails, dogs just need to be "under control," which means either on a leash or under complete voice control—meaning they come immediately when called.

You are responsible for bringing all items you need, including pet waste bags, drinking water, and bug repellant. It's worth bringing tweezers, cleaning alcohol, and a disinfectant to remove ticks.
Everyone is required to remove all of their own trash, from pets and humans, so don't leave bags of waste lying around for someone else to clean up. Leaving pet waste can also cause water quality issues or harm the environment.
