History of Venue: The Sanford Performing Arts Center opened in December 2018 and is operated by the Sanford School Department.
Venue Uses: SPAC is used for the Spotlight Series, productions by the Sanford High School Theater Company, the Junior High School, and recitals from dance groups, and a variety of other community and private events.
Admission: Subscriptions are offered for those purchasing tickets to seven or more performances in the Spotlight Series. These subscriptions get a 20% discount on ticket prices. It also entitles subscription holders to first choice for the next season and notification of any additional shows that are added. Tickets for productions by the Sanford High School Theater Company cost $10 or $13. Spotlight Series shoes vary depending on the show, but they can sell for as high as $50. Discounts are offered to seniors, students, and members of the military.
Food Services: Concessions are available at select performances, and all snacks offered here are permitted inside the theater.

Parking: According to their website, SPAC has the best parking of any theater in Maine…FREE, CLOSE, AND PLENTIFUL! Guests are advised to use the lot between the school and the football stadium.
