History: Portland Players Theater is the oldest community-based theater in the state of Maine and the second oldest in New England. Founded in 1931 as the Portland Dramatic Guild, it has continued to impress year after year with the quality and variety of the productions offered. Everything you want at a local community theater.

Young actors workshop for children aged 7-13 is a 13-week program that introduces students to all the aspects of musical theater.
