MORE INFORMATION: History: The Musée Culturel du Mont-Carmel's original church was built in 1909. The church was active until 1978 and was then purchased by L’Association Culturelle et Historique du Mont-Carmel. The structure was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
