SUMMARY: Mount Agamenticus, located in York, Maine, is a trail network of over 7 miles, ranging in difficulty from easy to advanced. Visitors are welcome to hike, snowshoe, bicycle, and cross-country ski along the trails. Select trails are also open to horses and ATVs. The area consists of 10,000 acres of conservation land that includes the mountain, fields, and forests. Visitors are welcome to drive up the mountain to the summit. At the summit, you’ll find viewing platforms, panoramic views, a lodge, bathrooms, and picnic tables. Don't be surprised to see wildlife along the trails, including deer, rabbits, foxes, and many different types of birds. Binoculars are suggested for when visitors reach the summit.
MORE INFORMATION: Best Time to Visit: The trails are open year-round, and each season offers a different experience. Winter is perfect for those who enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, and brings low crowds. Spring brings warmer weather, birds, and budding flowers. Summer is peak season and ideal for hikers, horseback riders, and ATVers. Fall is a wonderful time to view the foliage.
Season/Hours of Operation: The trails are open year-round. Summit Learning Lodge is open on weekends from the end of May through early October.
Fee: Fees from April 15–November 15; No admission fee from November 16–April 14, but donations are always welcome.

- Season passes are available (Non-Residents $100, Seniors/Military, $50)
Parking: Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Payments are made via smartphone on the ParkMobile app or by visiting the yellow “Iron Ranger” at the base or summit. Those paying in person must pay in exact cash, as change is not available.
