Market Square Historic District

Located at the confluence of Market Square, Maine Street, Court Street, and Water Street, the Market Square Historic District contains a distinctive collection of brick and masonry commercial buildings, built between 1885 and 1910, following the arrival of the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
