History: In 2017, the ECHL Alaska Aces hockey team was relocated to Maine. Fans voted for a new name for the team and the Maine Mariners was the winner. The team was originally affiliated with the New York Rangers. Later, in 2021, the team began a new affiliation with the Boston Bruins.
Location: The team plays at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.
Admission: Fans can purchase tickets to individual games, season tickets, group tickets, a family four-pack, or a flex plan.
- Individual game tickets range from $12 to just over $20 depending on the seats. Groups of 10 or more can get a discounted rate.
- Flex plans are available for ten undated tickets of your choice.
- Season tickets are available for 12-game, half or full-season plans and range from $180 - $800 depending on the package and seats.
Special Events/Promotions: There are theme nights and promotions throughout the season. Past themes included Holiday Sweater Night, Pickleball Night, Carnival, Throwback Night, Pucks and Paws, and more. Food Services: Concessions are available during the game. Options include hot dogs, burgers, pizza, popcorn, candy, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
Parking: The Gateway Garage is across from the venue, on High Street, and offers pre-purchasing of spots. Fans can also look for on-street parking.
