MORE INFORMATION: History: The Lovell Historical Society was established in 1974. The Society runs out of the 1839 Kimball-Stanford house. The Kimball-Stanford House was formerly called the Moses Hutchins House. The architecture of the home is a Federal-style farmhouse. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
Collections and Highlights: The collection includes thousands of photographs, vital records, and historical collections. Artifacts include vintage toys, quilts, and furnishings. The house also has a Map Room with 19th-century Maine and United States maps.
