Recreational Activities: In the winter, skiing and snowboarding are the main attractions. Sno-Go Ski Bikes, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing are fun alternatives. Or, try twilight skiing under the lights. Enjoy a refreshment in The Igloo, an actual snow igloo lounge. Located within a few miles of the resort are bowling, the Gem Theater, and the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum.
In warmer weather, the Sunday River Golf Course has a well-maintained course. Or, take a scenic lift ride on a Chondola. Hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and whitewater rafting are all fun activities.
