MORE INFORMATION: History: The International Cryptozoology Museum was established in 2003 by Loren Coleman. Coleman has been collecting cryptozoology items and cultural artifacts his whole life on various expeditions. The museum in Portland opened in 2009 and has since moved a few times as the collection expanded and outgrew its original spaces.
Collections and Highlights: The collection includes Abominable Snowmen and Bigfoot hair samples, fecal matter, and other interesting finds from expeditions. Sculptures of Bigfoot, Pterodactyl, FeeJee Mermaid and Naden Harbor Caddy are on display.
