Byway Location: Beginning in Kingfield, Maine on Route 27, the byway travels parallel to the Carrabassett River, past Sugarloaf Mountain and Carrabassett Valley to the village of Stratton, then heads north past Flagstaff Lake and the Cathedral Pines, Eustis Village. The Chain of Ponds and continues to Coburn Gore at the Canadian international border.
