History: Hadlock Field was established in 1993 when the city was granted an expansion baseball team. Later, in 2003, it became home to the Portland Seadogs. Once the Seadogs moved in, the park was outfitted with features to resemble Fenway Park in Boston, such as a Citgo sign and a replica Green Monster.
The venue is named for Edson Hadlock Jr, the Portland High head baseball coach from the 1950s to the 1970s.
