Byway Location: Starting on Route 26 in Newry, Maine, just north of the Sunday River Ski Area, the byway travels along Route 26 to Grafton Notch State Park, Upton Village and Umbagog Lake, which crosses the New Hampshire border. The Bear River runs parallel to the byway for much of the trip.
