History: The Hazard Flying Corporation Hangar used to occupy the land where the Friendship Suites were built.
Amenities: Rooms include a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Wi-Fi, a TV, a DVD player, toiletries, a Keurig coffee maker, and a private bathroom. Daily housekeeping and complimentary coffee, tea, and muffins are also available. Guests can borrow beach chairs, a crib, and a cot by request. The outdoor, heated saltwater pool is open seasonally from May to September. Outdoor barbecue grills are available for guest use.
Recreational Activities: Be sure to check out Palace Playland, which has games, amusement rides, and food vendors. The pier is great for fishing and scenic views. The beach is a great spot for swimming, sunbathing, exploring tide pools, and sightseeing.
Several parks are nearby, including Memorial Park, Guild Park, Ferry Beach State Park, and Mechanics Park. If you have a dog, check out Old Orchard Beach Veterans Memorial K-9 Park, just one mile from the hotel. Pirate’s Cove Golf, Aquaboggan Water Park, and Funtown Splashtown USA are all a short drive from the hotel.
