SUMMARY: Dixons’s Coastal Maine Campground is located right off Route 1 between Ogunquit and York Beach in Cape Neddick. It is very convenient for all the activities and dining in southern coastal Maine.
MORE INFORMATION: Number of Campsites: Dixons’s Coastal Maine Campground has 125 sites. Water and electric (30/50 amp) hookups are available, as well as a dumping station. Both tents and RVs can be accommodated in our wooded and open areas. Seasonal sites with full hookups are available. All sites have picnic tables and fire pits. Vehicles up to 40 feet can be accommodated. You can also rent a yurt for a little glamping. You can opt for the fully furnished 20-foot yurt which has electricity and water. For a simpler option, the 16-foot yurts can be had with only electricity or with no utilities.
Campground Amenities: The campground has four distinctive areas, each with its own restrooms and showers ($). Wifi is available at the office and the gazebo near the pool area. There is a store that has all the necessities; daily newspapers, hot coffee and souvenirs.
Recreational Activities: There is a lovely pool and a playground for small children. The area outside the camp is where guests go for recreation. The Ogunquit Playhouse, plenty of beautiful beaches, lighthouses, and lots of great food are just minutes away.
Season of Operation: Dixons’s Coastal Maine Campground is open from early May to mid-September.
