Number of Campsites: Bucksport / Fort Knox KOA Campground has 75 sites that offer a wide variety of camping options. Sites have anywhere from 20 to 50 amps of electricity. Full hookups are offered at some sites as well as a KOA patio. All sites have a picnic table and fire pit. The max pull through length is 100 feet. Tents and seasonal campers are both welcome.
Several different rental options are available, including a treehouse, glamping tent and a Geo dome. Two deluxe cabins, a standard cabin and rental RV are also offered. Pets are not allowed in any of the rental units.
Campground Amenities: Bucksport / Fort Knox KOA Campground offers a snack shack for pizza, lobster, and ice cream, a dog park, Wi-Fi, two laundromats, clean bathrooms and hot showers, a store for ice, firewood and propane and gated entrance and exit. The boutique offers baskets and more.
Recreational Activities: Guests enjoy playing bocce, a pool, playground, themed weekends, nightly card games in the rec hall, jump pad, horseshoe pit, and quilting and basket classes. Gem mining ($), bingo on Saturday at 1 pm, cribbage tournament on Saturday and Sunday mornings, nightly games and activities, special themed weekends and train rides every Saturday are provided.
Season of Operation: Bucksport / Fort Knox KOA Campground is open early May through early October.
