SUMMARY: The Bennett Bridge in rural northern Oxford County, Maine, is a historic covered bridge. The now-closed bridge once carried Littlehale Road over the Magalloway River, approximately 1.5 miles south of the Lincoln Plantation village of Wilsons Mills. It is one of Maine's few older covered bridges, constructed in 1901. In 1970, the bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places and is also known as the Bennett-Bean Covered Bridge.
