SUMMARY: Located in Bangor, Beal University is a private higher education institution that offers diplomas and degrees across 27 programs in six fields. Terms are just eight weeks long, allowing students to complete their degree faster than at a traditional university. MORE INFORMATION: History: The Bangor Business College was formed in 1891 by Mary E. Beal. The college was located in the YMCA and started with a small group of students. The following year, the college saw major growth of over 100 students and moved to a larger building. The name was changed to Beal College of Commerce in 1922 and later to the Beal College School of Business, followed by the current name of Beal University in 2020.
Visiting the Campus: There are two campus locations, Bangor and Wilton. The Bangor location is the main school and Wilton is a satellite. Business hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 6:30 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Contact the Admissions or Business office to discuss a visit to the campus building.
