History: The founder of Avena Botanicals Medicinal Herb Garden is farmer Deb Soule. She began her business in the mid-1980s and has continued to provide herbal products and teas to loyal customers ever since. The gardens are organic and biodynamic. The herbs are hand-picked and immediately processed in the onsite facility. Everything is handcrafted and made in an artisanal way.
Highlights: The Herbal Classroom offers classes in herbal healing and Biodynamic® and organic herb gardening. Classes are held both indoor and outdoor in the beautiful garden and octagon-shaped classroom.

Products offered: Avena Botanicals Medicinal Herb Garden sells a variety of products to support good health, beauty, and wellbeing. The store sells single herb products in the form of elixirs and tinctures. These include the delicious rose petal and elderberry elixir and burdock tincture. Single herbs are also offered alcohol-free in Glycerite products, including lemon balm and holy basil.
Body care is offered in the form of salves, balms, and creams as well as goat milk soap. Herbs are also offered in the form of spritzers and oils. Teas, broth, powders, and dried herbs can also be purchased. Books are also available as well.
